Parenting Help: Happymindfulpeople.com

MindfulnessWhere do you turn for guidance when you are struggling with behaviors?  How can we learn new ways of doing things?  What is mindfulness?

If you happen to live in Portland Oregon where I practice, I am aware of a couple great resources to help with the parenting journey.  I recently encouraged readers to study the book “Conscious Parenting”, which you can read more about here…

Mindfulness has been defined as a state of active attention where you observe your thoughts and feelings, without judging them good or bad. You are able to live in the moment and experience the moment rather than our common practice to be in the past or future.  This training is especially helpful for those who are suffering from anxiety, OCD, and other conditions that take us away from the moment and would have us trying to control others.

I have stumbled on a local treasure:  www.happymindfulpeople.com
