Stop USDA Approval of Corn and Soy That is Tolerant of Agent Orange 2,4-D Herbicide
The USDA is planning to approve Dow Chemicals 2,4-D seeds that are resistant to this agent orange-like herbicide. They will then be able to plant soy and corn crops that will tolerate widespread application of these agents to control weeds. The problem is that this will result in a huge expansion of the application of these dangerous endocrine-disrupting chemicals and the consequences for our nations health will be devastating.
I am already seeing boys in their late teens and early 20’s with extreme anxiety, whom upon testing, have testosterone levels of an 80 year old man. Our increases in ADD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, asthma, eczema and auto-immune disorders, and cancers will only get worse with this decision that will poison our food chain worse than it already is.
The most important health decision you can make is to eat organic and avoid the factory animal meats where these animals are fed the GMO grains (corn and soy).
I don’t mean to be alarmist, but if your own children have lucked out and are not affected by any of the disorders listed above, your grandchildren won’t likely be so lucky. We just cannot afford to stand by and allow big business to poison our food. Please check the link below for more information and how to take action.
